Director Taika Waititi, responsible for Thor: Love and Thunder and Thor: Ragnarok, reveals the differences between the two films.
Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters and is a great adventure with a lot of action and humour, although as the director is Taika Waititiit is inevitable to compare it with Thor: Ragnarök. But there is a big difference, since the attitude of the God of Thunder played by Chris Hemsworth it’s very different. This is how the director explains it in a recent interview with DigitalSpy.
“The big difference creatively and in terms of the story was wanting to push Thor in a direction that felt more emotional, where he was challenged by more human issues and things that would make him more relatable. He was great in Thor: Ragnarok and it was a lot of fun, it was like a reinvention of the character, but I felt like we could go further and find out more about who he is. Not only: I don’t want to be king. It’s more like: Who am I? What is my purpose? Will I ever fall in love? Will anyone ever love me? What is my place in the world?
There is another big difference that the director does not mention.
After watching the movie Thor: Love and Thunderwhat stands out the most is that the story is much simpler than Thor: Ragnarök. Since it is a simple adventure in which a very powerful villain appears as it is hat and you have to stop it. So they focus much more on the relationships between the characters and luckily, since the actors are very charismatic, the play works out quite well for them. Here we leave our review.
Thor: Love and Thunder opens in theaters on July 8, 2022. While Thor: Ragnarök is available on the streaming platform Disney Plus. And it’s a good idea to review it before watching the fourth installment, just like Avengers: Infinity War Y Avengers: Endgameto have everything very fresh in the memory.
