Quentin Tarantino has been promoting “Cinema speculation”, a book in which he comments on his favorite movies. But apparently superhero films have never been among his professional plans, since he was emphatic in saying that doesn’t want to direct a Marvel Studios movie.
“You have to be a hired hand to do those things, I am not looking for a job”Tarantino told Los Angeles Timesadding that in the future there could be a change and that type of film will no longer be as popular: “Just as the anti-establishment directors of the 60s rejoiced when the musical adaptations of the big studios fell out of favor, Today’s filmmakers can’t wait for the day they can say that about superhero movies.”.
A few months ago, Quentin announced his interest in directing a film in the saga of “Star trek”, but finally the project did not materialize. Regarding the subgenre of superheroes, he said that “there is nothing written. We are not yet like in 1969, when many said: ‘Oh my God, we spend a lot of money on things that nobody cares about anymore.
