After getting engaged in April, on June 1, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi officially celebrated their engagement with a private themed party for family and friends.
Although Millie, 19, and Jake, 21, are getting closer to marriage, the stars refuse to share information about the highly anticipated wedding, so it is unknown when they plan to walk down the aisle.
Fortunately, the fans of the young couple got to witness a bit of the celebration after celebrity hairstylist Pete Burkill shared some cute snaps of the couple, including one showing them standing next to a neon sign reading “Mr. and Mrs. Bongiovi”.
To celebrate their upcoming nuptials, the star of stranger things chose an elegant top white lace with a matching skirt, while the son of the star of rock Jon Bon Jovi wore a striking green suit with a white shirt.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi went public with their relationship on Instagram in November 2021. In April 2023, they announced their engagement by sharing a black and white photo of them embracing on the beach on Instagram, showing off the sparkling diamond ring. However, the decision to marry has generated negative comments given the young age of both.
For this reason, the father of the future groom, the legendary Jon Bon Jovi, intervened to defend them, explaining that in love, the years do not count and that Millie is an exceptional person, the right couple to grow and mature together.
Jon Bon Jovi himself and his wife, Dorothea Hurley, mother of their four children, fell in love from a very young age. They then got engaged at the age of 21 and married in 1989. They have been together ever since. That being said, those who do not look favorably on the marriage of the young couple should be excited and wish them a prosperous and happy marriage.
