James Mangold, director of the movie Logan, where Wolverine dies, reacted to Hugh Jackman’s return to the character in Deadpool 3.
In 2017, the movie Logan put an end to Hugh Jackman’s career as Wolverine, however, the announcement of his return as part of the cast of Deadpool 3 has caused a reaction from James Mangold.
And although the mutant with the claws that Adamantium is still dead in the Fox X-Men universe, as confirmed by Jackman himself and Ryan Relnolds (here the information), the question immediately arose: what about his farewell to 2017?
The conversation has been joined by James Mangold himself, who seems satisfied with the incorporation of Jackman to the MCU.

On his Twitter account, Mangold posted a GIF of Logan’s death before the terrible X-24, which was read by fans as a kind of claim for Jackman’s return. That brought the director back to Twitter to clarify his point:
“OMG! Everybody calm down. It’s a joke! I’m fine! LOGAN will always be there. Multiverse or prequels, time warps or wormholes, canon or non-canon or even for no reason, I can’t wait to see what madness my dear friends @VancityReynolds and @RealHughJackman cook up!”
Oh my gosh! Everybody chill. Just kidding! I’m all good! LOGAN will always be there. Multiverse or prequel, time warp or worm hole, canon or non-canon or even without a rationale, I cannot wait to see what maddness my dear friends @VancityReynolds and @RealHughJackman cook up! pic.twitter.com/qaCG4Z39x4

This clarification also drew reactions from Raynold and Jackman, who referred to Mangold as a goat. In English, “goat” is written “GOAT”, which is also used as the acronym for “Greatest Of All Times”, in Spanish “the greatest of all time”:
The 🐐.

Can’t believe I’m going to say this but it’s late so let’s go with that excuse … @VancityReynolds is right. @mang0ld is the 🐐!
