Laila Records, the record label that Leon Leiden founded, has just made a unique release. On the one hand, there is Leon himself, and on the other, the veteran group Bacilos, who joined forces in checka song that talks about friendship with a musical background that can be defined as tropipop.
Since the lyrics of the song have a lot to do with friends, the video also shows a very close camaraderie between Leiden and the members of Bacilos.
“check It is a song to celebrate friendship. To thank and appreciate all those friends who always accompany us through thick and thin, those who make us laugh and are always there to have a good time in their company. Friends who deserve a toast”, says Leon himself about the song.
Although Leon is barely over 20 years old, he is a unique case in music, because in addition to having his own musical label, he produces himself and is a multi-instrumentalist. As if that were not enough, he chooses his collaborations very well.
It comes from placing your simple very well gloomy modewith the Colombian trio Timø, which exceeds three million views on Spotify.
A few months ago he released the single we talka duet with Pol Granch, another smash hit that has already surpassed two million views, also on Spotify. Two songs with very different styles, but very interesting.
With Bacilos, Leon Leiden made an unconventional collaboration by marrying his youthful style with the veteran vision of this multinational trio, but the result was a marvel. Listen to it and tell me what you think.
