Jesús Hernández Alcocer was arrested on June 23, at the Suntory restaurant, located in the Del Valle neighborhood of Mexico City, where he was accused of murdering his young wife, the singer Yrma Lydya. The lawyer in charge of the case gave him a period of four months to present evidence and close the investigation.
Although both Alcocer and his driver were in preventive detention, in the North Prison, for alleged femicides, the 79-year-old lawyer recently revealed that he decided to take his wife’s life because he felt like his sugar daddy and he was fed up with Yrma constantly asking him for large amounts of money to pay for his interests.
