Jason Momoa is confident that the DC Universe will continue to count on Aquaman as one of the main characters for the plans of James Gunn and Peter Safran
The year 2023 will close for DC Comics in the cinema with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the second part of the King of the Seven Seas film, starring Jason Momoa, who does not doubt that Arthur Curry will be part of the immediate future of the DC Universe.

In the month of January James Gunn, co-president of DC Studios announced the first 10 projects of his chapter 1: Gods and Monsters, and a week before Momoa himself revealed that he had a great meeting with Peter Safran and James Gunn.
In an interview with Total Film, Jason Momoa does not doubt that Aquaman will play an important role in the next stage of the DC Universe that Gunn and Safran plan for the next few years.
“I absolutely believe Aquaman will be involved in the DC Universe. It’s on bro, there ain’t nobody bigger than Aquaman! But, also, I hope people are excited to see the new”.

Regarding the next installment of Aquaman, which will arrive in December, Jason Momoa announced that this new tape will be a fun experience for fans, discrediting reports that indicated the bad reaction of the audience in the screen tests.
“I really enjoy doing comedy. really fun stuff with Patrick Wilson. I really adore it. We had a great time working together. It’s like we were brothers. There’s a lot of great stuff happening in this”.
Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom will feature a cast led by Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry / Aquaman; Amber Heard as Mera and Willem Dafoe as Vulko.
Also returning are Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry; Dolph Lundgren as Nereus; Yahya Abdul–Mateen II as Black Manta; Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master, and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna. Ben Affleck will make a special appearance as Batman.
The premiere of Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom will hit theaters on December 25, 2023, while the first tape is already available on home video formats, as well as on some of the most popular digital platforms.
