One of the requests from The Flash fans is that characters like Impulse or Killer Frost lead their spin-off, something that the showrunner of the series responds to.
The Flash has finished its eighth season, and we will have to wait until 2023 to see the episodes of the ninth season, but a doubt floats in the air, in relation to a possible spin-off.

With the authorization of the ninth season of The Flash, this series became the longest running in the Arrowverse, surpassing Arrow by one season.
As SMASH told you, both The Flash and Superman and Lois have been renewed for another season by the CW, with both shows returning in 2023.
In The Flash we saw the appearance of Impulse, who is the son of Barry Allen and Iris West, who was talked about in some media that could lead a spin-off.
Will there be a spin-off of The Flash?
The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace revealed to Deadline that while there are several characters who could headline a Flash spin-off, it’s not currently viable.
“We’ve introduced a lot of characters in the last few seasons… I would say to the audience, if you have any characters that we’ve introduced in the last few years that you want to see in a spin-off, you should write to The CW. But I’m going to focus on The Flash right now before I start focusing on anything else.”
The Flash started broadcasting in 2014, and throughout its run on The CW network it has gained fans, in addition to joining other shows like Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow in major crossovers, such as Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The eighth season of The Flash is currently airing on the CW in the United States. In Mexico and Latin America, the eighth season can be seen on the cable channel Warner Channel.
