Now, the platform of streaming HBO turned to his Twitter account to publish a message denying these rumors. and clarifies that a final decision has not been made: “It is being erroneously reported that a decision on a second season of “Idol”. This has not happened.”
“Idol” shows Depp as a youthful singer who meets an artist manager named Tedros (The Weeknd). The popularity of the first chapter in audience has matched that of other series on the platform, such as Euphoria and “The white lotus”. This Sunday will premiere the third episode of the five that make up the first season.
