last night was the final ‘Got Talent’. The contest ended crowning Jordi Caps as winner and with the least-watched final in the history of the program. Something common in the latest Telecinco premieres, such as ’25 words’which after a promising premiere has already dropped below a million viewers.
Good and bad news
The ‘Got Talent’ season 8 finale chose Jordi Caps as the winner. Her magic number impressed the jury consisting of Edurne, Paula Echevarría, Risto Mejide and Dani Martínez and allowed him to get the 25,000 euros of the prize, as well as a training scholarship valued at 10,000 euros.
The final gala rose compared to the previous ones and managed to be among the most watched of the night with a 13.1% share and 1,268,000 viewers, just below ‘Hermanos’ (15.4% and 1,562,000) and ‘El Hormiguero’ (20.8% and 3,080,000) on Antena 3.
Taking into account the continuous failures of Telecinco throughout this year, we could consider these data as good news, although globally it is the least-watched final in the history of the program and the only one that has not managed to exceed 2 million viewers.
The deja vu extends to ’25 words’, one of his last bets for the afternoon slot and which he intended to do a double together with ‘Reacción en cadena’ to face ‘Y ahora Sonsoles’ and ‘Pasapalabra’. Although its premiere last Monday reached 11.5% and 1,110,000, its second episode has fallen back to 9.4% and the 904,000moving further away from the Sonsoles Onega program (13.2% and 1,251,000).
