Regarding this issue, the Venezuelan journalist Moisés Pérez Monroy, a faithful admirer of the Barranquillera, managed to attend the show and broke the silence in a video posted on TikTok. The artist’s admirer assured that Shakira did sing part of the song live and it was not just dubbing as has been speculated on social networks.

The Venezuelan said that his seat was almost at the exit of the television studio and he managed to get close to Shakira before she left.
“I had brought a photo that I took with her years ago and a marker, and she signed it for me. At the moment that she is signing my photo, and two people who were next to me (…) I managed to make eye contact with Shakira and I started to talk to her, ”said Moisés Pérez.
Having his idol in front of him, he did not miss the opportunity to express all the admiration he has felt for her for years, achieving then that she was very moved to hear his words.

The fan claimed that he did not record the moment because the production had prohibited it, but that other people who attended the Jimmy Fallon Show can confirm what happened.
