Recently, in a presentation with the cast of War of jokes At the Flower Fair in Huauchinango, Puebla, Mexico, Juan Carlos Nava, better known as “El Borrego”, decided to get completely naked on stage, without taking into account that there were children among the attendees.
Logically, there was a stir over his improvised stripteasebut “El Borrego” defends himself against the accusations, alleging that the parents of those children knew that they were attending a show for adults.
To celebrate the Flower Fair, the Municipal Government of Huauchinango, in Puebla, hired the Show of War of jokeswith the participation of Juan Carlos Casasola, Radamés de Jesús, Juan Carlos “El Borrego” Nava and Yered Licona, better known as “La Wanders Lover”.
At one point during the presentation, “El Borrego” decided to take off his clothes, dancing to the rhythm of a song, until he was completely naked and with his back to the public. Many people considered what he did offensive and decided to attack him online. However, “El Borrego” defended himself and spoke about the issue in an interview for the program First hand.
They are not attacking me, on the contrary, it went viral, but it is a ‘show’ that we have been doing for a year and ‘Guerra de chistes’ has been going on for 17 years and people know that it is a comedy ‘show’ for adults. Whether they go with children or not, it is under the responsibility of the parents or guardians of the children who take them to a ‘show’ for adults.
Practically, in all fairs in Mexico, it is customary for different celebrity shows to be hired to entertain the public that attends the fair at the Teatro del Pueblo. For this reason, it is not uncommon for entire families to attend to enjoy these presentations. In the end, the comedian recognized that there could be among the attendees people who did not find out what his show was about. Showbut mentioned that what he does is not offensive.
Wakalaaaa 🤮

There is no need to offer an apology if we offended someone with this ‘show’ or someone who, perhaps, due to lack of information, came with their children to see the ‘show’ and such, we offer an apology. But hey, this went viral. It is not offensive against anyone, I am making comedy of my own body, of my own essence, I am making fun of myself. I am not offending anyone or directing it at anyone else.
