Dwayne Johnson provided the voice of the character “Maui” in the 2016 film “Moana.”

dwayne johnson (also know as “The Rock”) has surprised all his fans, as he reported that will produce a film based on Disney’s animated film “Moana”which in 2016 was a success in theaters and in which he himself did the voice of Maui, one of the two main characters.
Johnson shared a video in which he appears with his two daughters on the beach, and with the friendly attitude that characterizes him says: “Aloha to everyone from beautiful Hawaii … the Pacific islands and their cultures inspired a very special story that all of you they know very well. and that story is “Moana”“.
The actor went on to give details about the project: “We are very excited to announce that a reinvention of live action of “Moana” is already underway…of course Maui will be there too. We are honored to partner with disney studios to tell our story through the realm of music and dance, which essentially make up who we are as a Polynesian people.”
“Moana” tells the story of a very brave girl who is the daughter of the chief of a tribe and who undertakes a journey to find a valuable piece with which she can save her people. Actress Auli’l Cravalho, who voiced the title character in 2016, will also serve as executive producer of the new film.
