Just a couple of days ago we told you that Disney had turned its release schedule upside down for the next few yearsincorporating something new to its ‘Star Wars’ franchise and its repertoire of live action remakes, altering the MCU release plan and, to finish off, considerably delaying the dates of the three films in the ‘Avatar’ saga that have already they are in process.

Well, after learning that the third installment of James Cameron’s environmental adventure would hit our theaters on December 19, 2025, producer Jon Landau has shared on his Twitter account a first image of the feature film… framed in a most beautiful wireless SmallHD monitor.
“Each Avatar film is an exciting but epic project that takes time to bring to the level of quality we aspire to as filmmakers and audiences have come to expect. The team is hard at work and can’t wait to bring back Pandora to viewers in December 2025.”
Fans of the Na’vi’s wanderings will have to be patient while they wait for the next ‘Avatar’. The third will arrive on the aforementioned December 19, 2025, ‘Avatar 4’ on December 21, 2029 and the closing of the pentalogy December 19, 2031. Luckily, we will be able to walk around Pandora again, this time in first person, in the Ubisoft video game ‘Frontiers of Pandora’.
