One of the most emblematic and recognized couples of the 70s, John Lennon and Yoko Onowill have a new documentary to remember how this duo knew how to revolutionize art and music, in addition to their impact on controversial issues such as the environment, politics and others.
Lennon is listed as one of the best and most important singers in the world, and Ono is a renowned artist, who celebrated her 90th birthday on February 18.
Both the Japanese artist and Sean Lennon, the son she had with the singer, they approved the publication of the documentary ‘Daytime Revolution’, which will deal with when the couple acted as a presenter of ‘The Mike Douglas Show’Mike Douglas’ renowned talk show in 1972.
It is there where the duo conducted in-depth and controversial interviews with personalities of the time such as: the co-founder of the Black Panther Party, Bobby Seale; actor and comedian George Carlin and attorney Ralph Nader.

In an interview for Variey magazine, the documentary’s director commented: “It’s become a cliché that Woodstock was the defining moment of counterculture, but when I look at these entire programs I realize that, this week in 1972, when Lennon and Ono essentially hijacked the signal and introduced the best minds and dreams of their generation to the mass audience…it was as far as the counterculture could have gone..”
