The serious legal problem facing the Brazilian in Spain has put his family, close people and obviously his wife in trouble, who in recent times recognized herself as overwhelmed by the events she was going through, not only because of the accusations made against Alves in Barcelona, also because his mother died just a week before the man who was signed to FC Barcelona was arrested.

I would have preferred that she had accepted it, because it is her right. But if she doesn’t want it, I’ll respect that. I will not ask you to do otherwise,” the lawyer explained.
In recent days, he was transferred to the Ciutat de la Justicia in Barcelona, where the judge set the prison term because she considered that the defendant represented a high flight risk, since being a national of Brazil (a country with which there is no treaty of extradition). Ester Garcia Lopez used this to tell the reasons for his arrest: “The existence of evidence, the contradictions presented by Mr. Alves’ testimonies and the risk of flight because he is a person with great economic capacity, who did not live in Spain and who has double nationality”.
