“I’m celebrating because one works so much.”.. Excited, happy, thankful for the path of preparation and sacrifices that led her to this great day, Clarissa Molina is ready to fulfill her dream of driving a prize this Thursday, April 20and it does nothing more and nothing less than with the Latin AMAs 2023.
Before you see her tonight on Univision, UniMás, Galavisión, starting at 7/6 Pm Centro parading on the ‘Noche de Estrellas’ carpet and then debuting as presenter with Galilea Montijo, Natti Natasha and Julián Gilwe spoke with the dear Dominican, who confessed to us that it will be changed 5 times!
-You dreamed it, and you are hours away from being the co-host of the Latin American Music Awards. How do you feel?
Clarissa Molina: Super happy, shining, look, I put on this outfit, I almost don’t wear shine, but I’m celebrating, I’m celebrating because one works so hard… In my case, I came without any experience, I entered ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’, without experience, and from there I said: “I have to prepare myself, because I want to continue climbing, I want to do new things.” And it was worth it, and here I am. To all the girls who see me, believe that you can, you can get where you want, when you propose.
–Every year that I have interviewed you for the awards, you told me that your dream was to drive one, and you just get a historic award, which debuts on three channels at the same time, and at a time when the world is watching Latin music.
Clarissa Molina: A very big responsibility, really, being in front of the management of the Latin AMAs, comes home, comes to Televisa-Univision with a great challenge of being able to bring people, home, something fresh, something new with its essence. , but you know with the flavors that Televisa-Univision has, that unique essence, that when you see it on the screen you want to always be glued watching, because the setting is perfect, the camera shots, are countless things that Univision has so pending when making prizes. It’s going to be noticed.
For me it is a privilege to be part of this historic night, I feel that I have been touched by several historical things, Miss Universe, they change the crown, ‘El Mira Quién Baila VIP’, ‘Nuestra Belleza Latin VIP’, like I’m seeing that pattern , and I feel very blessed.
-You are going to wear 5 dresses, how are you going to do that dynamic of the 5 changes?
Clarissa Molina: I have no idea, I’m going to be honest, I want six, but they really told me: “Look, no, the one with the perfect carpet, I don’t know 5 more”… So I’m going to use a total of 5 changes, counting the of the carpet to be able, obviously, to give that spark and that little show to people at home, I say little show because it’s like a show to always change, and obviously people are fascinated by that. I am working on Claudia Zuleta with all the looks, and she has really thrown herself away, I am of the opinion, “Wow, am I going like this?” … You will understand me when you see me on the red carpet, imagine.
–We just saw each other in rehearsals, how did you live it? What are you most worried about for that big night?
Clarissa Molina: The first rehearsal on camera was this morning, it said: “Wow, it will be that I will be up to Galilea (Montijo)”, because I see that woman as my idol, and she gives you a sense of security, that that it transmits to you too, and I already think it’s one less worry. We get along very well, we made a very nice chemistry between the four of us, I think that for now she doesn’t worry me at all.
–Let’s imagine that we are already in the big night, you have already passed through the carpet, you are on stage and they say: “1, 2, 3, on the air”…
Clarissa Molina: My heart like this, million by million, I say: “It is, the time has come, there is no going back, this is live, what came out, came out”… I entrust myself to God, always, always in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I do give it a go… I say well, Daddy God, that everything that comes out of my mouth, be you, each expression, each feeling, and that has also helped me to always flow, leave everything in the hands of God, and that I am simply the instrument for him, and speak to the public, but I do get nervous and everything, I’m already nervous, but the nerves are gone on air.
