Christian Chávez, a singer who rose to fame for having been one of the members of the musical group RBD and who in 2007 dared to issue a statement publicly declaring his homosexuality, recognized the contribution of the television series that are emerging in defense of LGBTQ+ community.
The 39-year-old actor, who He recently participated in the streaming series “El rey de los machos”, whose production was carried out by Disney, It has been fighting for many years because gender diversity is respected, which has been gaining space in recent years, largely due to the impulse provided by television and cinema.
“It’s wonderful that Disney is risking making a series starring a trans kid in Latin America that is also a comedy,” expressed to various media.

“It would have changed my life. I think the trans community has been the hardest hit within the LGBTQ+ community. So, I think it’s time for trans kids to watch a series like ‘El rey de los machos’“, he indicated.
And it is that, in said television project, which will be released next year, the story of a young transgender named Charly is addressed, who enrolls in a contest where it is intended to determine who is the most macho young man in the community.
