Have you ever wondered how much celebrity bodyguards need to know? Regardless of all the times that they have accompanied them to the WC, there is no doubt that they even know the secrets that not even gossip magazines have to know.
However, they also have to deal with the character of each personality and that is why today we open space for some security elements of celebrities who have shared the best and worst clients they have had, that is, we are going to tell you the bad and good anecdotes that happened with celebrities.
1.Eminem
He was extremely humble and somewhat clumsy. He treated all of his staff, from sound engineers to those who prepared food in the studio, very kindly and well. He never used his celebrity status to bully or put others down and actually avoided it.
2.John Cena
I had to escort John Cena somewhere, they told me not to let any fans near him. A fan saw him and asked for an autograph which made more fans see him, he said it was okay to let them near him and signed an autograph for each fan.
3. Shaquille O’Neal
My most humorous bodyguard job was for Shaq. He entered my club and I was assigned to him. I was 6’7″, 230lbs at the time, and he dwarfed me. It was funny that he made me look like a child, but it was my job to ‘protect’ him.
4. Cesar Millan
Super hard, working with his feet on the ground. He was always the first on the ranch working and the last to leave. His girlfriend of his at the time was also very nice and fun to talk to!
5.Gwen Stefani
I worked with her on three different occasions and I would rather shoot on a bed of broken syringes (…) than deal with her ever again. The flip side is that Gavin Rossdale is the coolest, most humble laid back guy ever.
6. Fay Wray
I was a bodyguard for Fay Wray during a silent film festival in San Francisco. she was amazing. Sweet, elegant, all those things.
7.Mark Wahlberg
He was super nice and gave a gang style handshake while all I could do was humor him. We then had some fried chicken with the group backstage.
8.Adam Lambert
I have never met or worked for someone so ruthless and rude. They asked me to take care of their private security one night as a favor to their tour manager. She literally walked up to me, put her arm around my shoulder, and said, ‘Unless you see a thousand people bothering me, stay as far away as possible.’
9. Don Magic Juan
I was chatting with all the staff, their security guys, huge men asking us how easy it was to work for MTV.
10.David Arquette
I met him last year at Reggae On The River. He took some photos with us, poured some beer and then decided to climb on top of the empty kegs. I yelled at him to get down because the pyramid of empty barrels was NOT strong.
11.Snoop Dogg
Really cool.
12. The Pot Belleez
As a security guard, I once had to ‘protect’ the band The PotBelleez while they played at our club. I had a lot of trouble with straight women and gay guys that night. It’s very difficult to properly restrict fans.
13.Carson Daly
He really is a good guy. He is always playing in the sand on the beach with his daughter. Once, a girl came running past the security gate and accosted him, almost stepping on her daughter, who was at her feet. He scolded her and she seemed genuinely surprised.
14. Michelle Rodriguez
She came to the house with the other ‘Blue Crush’ girls. Some of her friends from the North Jersey ghetto sneaked onto the set wearing super soakers. They ended up nearly destroying a $100,000 camera in the process.
15.Adam West
Adam West was a complete jerk. He appeared ‘covertly’ wearing a hat, sunglasses and a Sars mask. And when he took it all off and not many people noticed, he was upset and waited for everyone in line to clap before sitting down.
