“We focus on independent publishers, both local and foreign, and on disciplines such as art, architecture, photography, design, fashion, gastronomy, and art theory,” says Jorge de la Garza, who founded the project with Rafael Prieto.
But it also influences that, inside, you can also find treasures such as notebooks, postcards and articles that become the perfect souvenir of a visit to explore its shelves.
The experience begins when you ring the bell from the street and go up the stairs that lead to the first floor. A space dominated by the color white, two rooms and an endless number of magazines and books welcomes locals and foreigners who seek to lose themselves in its pages to choose what they will take home.
“From the beginning, we sought to take advantage of the domestic spaces of the house to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that would not intimidate visitors and would be comfortable,” adds de la Garza.

“We have seen a community form around the bookstore and thanks to these friends, colleagues and strangers, it has become a meeting point, inspiration, discussion and debate on issues that concern us all”, he concludes.
