“Well, there’s a little movie called Alita: Battle Angel that we’d love to go back and do a sequel to. I’ve been talking to Robert [Rodríguez] about that and I hope it materializes”
Originally, the film was to be directed by Cameron, but with his hands on the Avatar sequels, the award-winning director turned the project over to Rodriguez.
The story centers on Alita, a robot rescued from among technological garbage who, over time, will begin to recover her memory and with it, discover her violent combat abilities.
