Sarah Polley is in talks to direct the new version of “Bambi.”

The cartoon movie “Bambi”from 1942, is a studio classic Disneyand now the company plans a new version of that film, but with live action and computer-generated animationin the same line of films as “The jungle book” (from 2016) and “The lion king” (as of 2019).
Noah Harpster and Micah Fitzerman-Blue They will write the script for the film, which will show the adventures of Bambi, a deer who lives in the forest with his childhood friends, but who must face harsh experiences after the death of his mother. Sarah Polleythe Canadian filmmaker who won the award this year oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay, is in talks to direct the project.
The new versions in live action to classic tapes of Disney They have done well at the box office worldwide. The most recent, “The little mermaid” -starring halle bailey-, has raised more than $229 million dollars in the United States alone.
