We all come from different worlds, but we all have this similar experience, relating to Spider-Man and his history.”, Said the writer Brian Michael Bendis in an interview for the IGN site.
The integration of Miles Morales into the comics
After the events of Secret Wars, Miles is located on Earth-619 (the main one in the entire Marvel Multiverse) and his first big challenge came in Civil War II, which was followed by travels in the Multiverse, the brief romance with spider gwen and other interesting moments.
bendis believes that the arrival of miles morales to the marvel universe It was a great contribution that opened the door for more characters with multiracial characteristics.
“When people supported Miles, Marvel was encouraged to cast Ms. Marvel (Kamala Kahn, a Muslim teenager), Sam Wilson (Afro-American Captain America). I certainly don’t take responsibility for any of those things. I know that the success of Miles, which is in the hands of the audience, allows these other ideas to find a way.”.
