At just 24 years old, Wesley Williams has already gone through ‘Got Talent’ from different countries. He until the semifinal of the last edition of ‘Got Talent Spain’, where suffered a fall in full performance that caused serious injuries: “Twelve months ago, my life changed completely.”
At last night’s gala, Dani Martínez announced the absence of one of the semifinalists, Alan J. Silva, and that Williams would act in his place. “The last time I was here I didn’t know if I would walk again” recalled the contestant, who saw this second opportunity to be able to try again as “a miracle” and assured that “he came to win.”
williams got back on the unicycle successfully in the test that, a year earlier, cost him his admission to the hospital. The acrobat was moved by the public’s applause and wanted to thank the ‘Got Talent’ team for accompanying and supporting him since the fateful accident.
The judges applauded his bravery and rushed to hug him. “I think your performance teaches us many things. It takes someone with courage, who knows how to overcome the worst of adversities to remind us of the importance of fighting to be up there. Today you are the hero of Got Talent” congratulated Risto Mejide.
