On August 13, a storm hit eastern Spain, leaving one person dead and 40 injured as a result of toppling part of the stage of the electronic music festival Medusa Circus of Madness, on Cullera beach, in Valencia.
According to the newspaper The world, around 4:00 am, a part of the main stage and the structure of the entrance to the venue, which was expecting the attendance of 320,000 people, fell apart after strong gusts of wind. The festival was officially canceled after what happened.

Medical services reported one death and 40 injuries, although none seriously. The deceased was a man between 20 and 22 years of age, who died when he was hit by a part of the stage.
Videos shared on social networks show trees shaking from the strong wind, as well as the detachment of elements from the main stage and the panic of those present.
So this is why you shouldn’t be mad when @insomniacevents close the MainStage or shut down the event at EDC Las Vegas

The meteorology service in Spain (AEMET) explained that the coast of Valencia was affected by “warm blows”, a phenomenon by which the air falls to the surface much faster than expected, causing intense gusts of wind.
For their part, the organizers of the festival released a statement expressing their condolences and reaffirming that they were unaware of the weather conditions that would occur at that time.
Ximo Puig, regional president of Valencia, sent his “deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased young man” through Twitter. However, it is still unknown if the family of the deceased person, as well as the injured, will receive any monetary compensation for what happened.
