Actors Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey will work together once more, this time on an as-yet-untitled comedy series to be produced by AppleTV+ and in which they will also serve as executive producers.
The project will combine fiction with the elements of a reality show and will show Matthew and Woody living together in Texas with their respective families, trying to resolve everyday conflicts. The series will have ten episodes and could be released this year.
The actors have been friends since they starred in the 1999 film “EdTV”which ironically was a criticism of the reality shows; in 2014 they headed the cast of the series HBO’s “True Detective”which got good reviews and for which they were both nominated for the award Emmy.
