The car brand will launch a 360-degree global campaign that puts the ID.4 in the spotlight with personalized content inspired by the film. This collaboration is based on the presence of the all-electric vehicle as the superhero’s family car in the film.
“The integration of the ID.4 in the film and the campaign allows us to reach millions of people around the world (…) in addition, the character of Ant-Man fits perfectly with the brand: it is likeable, authentic and has a great sense humor,” says Gilbert Heise, director of global brand management and consumer insights at Volkswagen.
In the run up to the film’s release, Volkswagen and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will release a co-created personalized ad to kick off the global campaign.
This ad was developed and produced by Volkswagen, the Walt Disney Studios partnerships team, and Bullitt, and will be broadcast across social media, television, and theaters.
A behind the scenes look will give viewers an inside look at the making of the film with placement of the Volkswagen e-SUV ID.4 during the production of the tape.
