The Met Gala 2023, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, saw hundreds of celebrities parade along its carpet, who amazed with their extravagant and striking costumes, however, there was a special guest who stole the spotlight and was not contemplated for be part of the gala: A cockroach.
The unexpected intruder, who managed to go unnoticed through the security filter, paraded as a diva alongside celebrities such as the Jenner sisters, Bad Bunny, Maluma, Serena Williams, Jennifer Lopezamong many others.
After managing to pass incognito, the peculiar insect was focused by one of the cameras that was in the place and the rest is history. The cockroach went viral and now everyone is talking about it.
The video of the strange event was shared on the social networks of Variety magazine and so far accumulates more than 9,400,000 views and exceeds 8,600 retweets.
As expected, the memes about what was experienced on the carpet were not lacking and they immediately shook social networks, as some assured that the cockroach attended the occasion dressed in etiquette.

The cockroach was not the only animal that stole the spotlight, but also some very cute and beautiful cats that walked on their two hind legs.
