There is no doubt that the generation that was born in the decade of the 80’s and 90’s enjoyed different animated series that over the years became true classics, and an element that became key to these proposals are their intros or presentations.
Whether due to unforgettable themes, action-packed sequences, or the mood that the beginning of each series evoked in us, these intros marked several generations that continue to enjoy these cartoons to this day.
Let’s review with nostalgia the intros of animated series that have marked millions of viewers around the world, especially those born in Latin America.
The Defenders of the Earth
The earth must be saved. In 1987, with the production of Marvel Television, the heroes of different Sunday strips were united for a television program that introduced us to Flash Gordon (called Roldán el Temerario) The Ghost of the Jungle, Roldan the Temerario and the Wizard Mandrake, who in the company of his sons, they fight the machinations of Ming the Merciless.
The Powerpuff team
Throughout a decade, Hanna Barbera produced several seasons of Super Friends, and the last one is the most remembered by fans, giving it more seriousness and leaving out the flashes of humor. This last season is remembered for its powerful intro, and the marketing that surrounded this animated series.
The Fantastic Four
Another of the jewels that Hanna Barbera gave us, in which the adventures of the first family of superheroes from La Casa de las Ideas are followed, whose entrance is simply spectacular, nuanced with an instrumental theme and animation inspired by Jack’s strokes. Kirby.
The Galactic Falcons
Silver Ray, the Ruff and Ruff Twins, the Copper Boy and Cowboy, under the leadership of Captain Telescope, fight the evil minions of Monstruon in every corner of outer space. In Latin Spanish the theme is exceptional.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
One of the animated series that defined the decade of the 80’s is He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, whose opening in Spanish simply moved an entire generation.
The ninja turtles
The decade of the 90s also began with a bang with the adventures of the Ninja Turtles, who prevented the domination plans of Destroyer and Kang, in addition to putting Beebop and Rocksteady in their place (with everything and their head studs so that they feel comfortable).
thundercats
Another of the animated series that left its mark in the 80’s was Thundercats, not only because of a story that caught on. The innovative animation style, the cast of voices in Spanish (Víctor Trujillo as León-o makes it impeccable) and the narrative were framed with an intro that continues to excite fans to this day.
X Men
Another of the most acclaimed animated series of all time is X-Men, where an entire generation met Marvel’s team of mutants, and this entry accompanied the adventures of the children of the atom for five seasons. (We count the days for the return of a new season).
spider-man
It’s no secret that the 1960s opening gave us one of the most iconic themes, but in 1994 Spidey broke into the animated series, adapting the most important arcs published in three decades, and the opening was accompanied by animated sequences. in 2D and 3D, as well as a rock theme.
The Simpson
Did you think we wouldn’t have a sequence that is classic in television history? Created by Matt Groening, Springfield’s most irreverent family made the leap from a late night show to their own animated series, which had one of the most recognized intros in animated series, with a theme composed by Danny Elfman.
Batman
And this list could not leave out one of the most epic intros in the history of animated series with Batman. This sequence was part of the pilot that was presented to Warner Bros, which, upon approving this animated series, requested that this be the opening. And to grace this entry, the music of Danny Elfman that captures the spirit of Tim Burton’s films.
