Do you know that we all love a platform/social network but if they had this feature we would want it more (like Twitter and a button to edit)? Well, with Tivify, the streaming website to watch DTT online and for free, something similar happens.
A) Yes, in its plan to compete in the world of free platforms, Tivify has removed the option to register. In this way, users will be able to watch their favorite programs live without having to give their data to the service, with the limitations that their free plan entails.
Among these limitations are issues such as the platform’s own advertising, that you cannot see the regional channels and premises in your area (since these are enabled after registering by looking at your postal code) and not having a personal space for the recordings of the programs.
Mediaset, in the Plus plan
But even by registering, perhaps what is most striking about Tivify’s free plan is that Mediaset channels are not included. Or, in other words, youyou have to pay to watch Telecinco, Four and company since these enter the “Plus” plan, for 1.99 euros per month (23.88 per year).
A curious toll that “forces” the viewer of these channels to go to Mitele if they want to watch it for free (and with a barrage of ads), so although this move to eliminate registration will certainly attract more viewers, I don’t know how much people are willing to pay just for having these channels.
Yes, the next package, which includes both those of Mediaset and some payment channels such as AXN, TNT and SyFy among others, is more attractive, but we are already going to 5.99 euros per month.
