Luz Delgado, popularly known as Lela or “Queen Mother”, is the mother of the Puerto Rican model and television presenter dayanara torres (48). In this way, she is also the maternal grandmother of two of the children of Mark Anthony, Ryan and Christian, who were born while the singer was with Dayanara. Last Sunday, in Puerto Rico -among other Latin American countries- Mother’s Day was commemorated, and Mother’s Day itself dayanara torres dedicated a tender message to her “Queen Mother” on Instagram in which she not only highlighted her figure as a mother, grandmother and companion, but also expressed all her love and admiration for her. So much so that he still clings to her when something seems to get complicated. On Sunday, May 14, in commemoration of Mother’s Day, Dayanara dedicated an emotional message to her mother.
“Oh Mommy. Lela, the Queen Mother… how to put into words everything I feel for you… My tireless Warrior, my role model… my Strength and Drive… I only ask God to be half the mother that you have been to us and your grandchildren… Sometimes I can’t imagine where you get so much strength from… You are my everything, you are my sun, you are my friend, counselor, and the force that pushes me keep going… Thank you for everything and for so much. And for teaching me with your example… I hope to continue making you feel proud of the fruits that you reap today, for generations…! We love you Lela!”, he wrote dayanara torres.
In addition, he accompanied the publication with a moving video where Luz Delgado, mother of dayanara torres, at different times in his life and -in some postcards- with his family. The sequence of photographs was set to music by Dayana herself, who chose the song “Todo fue por amor”, by Carla Morrison, to decorate the audiovisual collage.
