Amid the clamor of social networks that indicate that Dua Lipa could be the new Zatanna, a fan art shows us what she would look like.
The only certain thing is that Warner Bros. has mentioned in different forums the possibility of seeing the character in a series or in a movie, either as part of a team of heroes or alone. And what is not clear, but is a rumor well received by fans, is the possibility that the singer Dua Lipa is the new incarnation of Zatanna.

The press has said that Dua Lipa is in talks to join the DCEU as magician Zatanna Zatara. And although it is nothing official, some illustrators have taken on the task of imagining what the singer would look like dressed in the costume of the DC sorceress.
One of these spirited artists is Mickaël Journou, who shares on his Twitter what Dua Lipa could look like as the DCEU’s Zatanna. And best of all, he shows her wielding magic. Take a look at the fan art and let us know what you think:
@DUALIPA so Zatanna! Have you heard the rumors about Dua Lipa as the mistress of magic? I decided to go with a more mystical look for Zatanna while keeping her de ella trademark hat. What do you think? #DuaLipa #ZATANNA #DCEU #dcomics #SDCC2022 #sdcc #posterdesign pic.twitter.com/DjoWzXPEdM

Who is Zatanna?
Zatanna Zatara was created by Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson for 1964’s Hawkman #4, and was introduced as the daughter of Batman’s artistic mentor Giovanni “John” Zatara. Over time, she has become one of the most powerful magical beings in DC, teaming up with the Justice League Dark and John Constantine.
While Zatanna has appeared in various animations, with actors she has only been seen portrayed by Serinda Swan in the series Smallville. However, since 2005 different projects with various actresses have been mentioned, which have not materialized.

DC Universe – Justice League Dark: Lords of Order
Order out of chaos.
They are the Other Kind: monstrous entities from a realm beyond realms. These invaders have come to Earth from the Sphere of Gods in the Dark Multiverse, to reclaim what is rightfully theirs: magic itself. Possibly, each of them has his own name – the Soup, the Rupture, the Offspring – but for the magical beings of our world, his true name is death.
When the Other Kind tears magic apart, the almighty Doctor Fate and his Masters of Order devise a strategy to harness these beings and direct magic back toward order. It was Fate and the Masters who originally stole the Other Kind’s magic in hopes of creating a world with greater stability; now, to restore balance, they will offer the magical community as a sacrifice for the monsters of the twilight!
But the Justice League Dark will not go down without a fight. Wonder Woman, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Man-Bat and Detective Chimp will stop at nothing to overthrow the Masters, repel the invasion and restore balance to our sphere.
But how much darker can these heroes get before they unleash the monster within each?
Find out in JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK VOL. 2: THE MASTERS OF ORDER! The chaotic new chapter in the saga of DC’s darkest superhero team, narrated by writer James Tynion IV and artists Alvaro Martínez Bueno and Raul Fernandez. Collects JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #8-13 and ANNUAL #1.
