Just a few days ago we shared the story of an employee at the Lil’ Blessings daycare center in the city of Hamilton, Mississippi, United States, who thought it appropriate to play a prank on the little ones, wearing a mask of ghost face to get the boys and girls to “behave” in the room.
However, when it went viral and the parents filed a complaint with the learning center, the young woman and other employees involved were fired. Despite this, a mother has suggested that the educator and the other employees should receive legal punishment for the emotional and psychological damage they may have caused to the children.
Katelyn Johnson sent her two-year-old son to the nursery to be cared for during the day and just a few days after what happened, she revealed to TMZ that she is convinced that the five workers who were fired for child abuse should be put Behind bars.
The mother assures that in the nursery there was inadequate supervision and with their actions they traumatized the children, some of whom are not old enough to communicate and talk about those feelings, while the older ones do have that advantage. Because of this, it is not possible to know when the trauma of the little ones will surface.
In addition to her opinion, Katelyn shared that her own son cannot communicate what is going through his head, since he is only two years old, so “he can only tell him through reaction.” In addition, she states that after the events in the nursery, the child has difficulty falling asleep at night and that there was a setback in his learning of sphincter control, which, she thinks, may be related to the actions of the caregiver.
Katelyn stressed that she would like the former employees to serve some prison sentence, adding that she would settle for a short sentence of between six months and a year in prison. However, she also said that she is not thinking of filing a lawsuit because she believes that the girls involved have already done enough not to be rehired and would not be able to pay the damages they are awarded.
Another of his statements is that in the recording that went viral we only saw a small part of what was happening in the nursery and he pointed out that other parents want to wait to see what happens with the criminal case before deciding on the legal actions they could take.
