If you read me regularly you will know that for some things I have prejudices. I know, it’s wrong, and I’m working on it this year. That is why I am making an enormous effort to overcome them and not get carried away by them, and I listen to the people who love me very much and recommend things to me. Like my friend Charlie and the latest series I’m watching, which is her fault.
She subscribed to SkyShowtime for the price and now she is discovering real gems on this platform like this science fiction series. He told me about this series and told me not to get carried away by its protagonist. I’m talking about Tulsa KingSylvester Stallone’s crime drama with which I have reconciled with the actor thanks to the mafia and the recommendation of my friend.
Tulsa KingSylvester Stallone’s crime drama
It’s not that I hate Sylvester Stallone. In fact rocky I think it’s a real wonder. But the same thing happens with him as with Arnold Schwarzenegger, I think they were action heroes who should now take over from the new generations. But this Paramount series has shut my mouth because the good old Stallone is fantastic.
The series has been created by Taylor Sheridan (who is also the author of yellowstone) and has Terrence White as showrunner, although the magic is in its cast. Sylvester Stallone plays a mobster who after spending 25 years in prison is forced to start over in Tulsa Oklahoma. He is not alone, along with him we find Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Dana Delany or Annabella Sciorra among others.
It has a season of 10 episodes, but already has been renewed for a second season after its success in the US. As a piece of information: in addition to Paramount +, its first episode was broadcast on the Paramount Network cable channel, achieving 3.7 million viewers, the best premiere of a linear cable series above the house of the dragon.
We have already grown fond of Dwight “The General” Manfredi, the Sylvester Stallone character with whom my friend Charlie has managed to get me to rid myself of prejudices.
