About three weeks ago we celebrated in style the confirmation that ‘Daggers in the back 2’ would arrive this same 2022 on Netflix to make Christmas more enjoyable for us, and that it would do so under the title of ‘The mystery of Glass Onion’. Today we have finally been able to take a first look at the new Rian Johnson in a trailer that looks really spectacular.
Plus whodunnit to the Johnson
In the minute and a half that the advance lasts, spoiler free as the director himself promises in his account Twitter and edited wonderfully, we can verify that the Johnson’s house brand precision workmanship remains intact, that the tone will once again flirt with comedy just as it did in the original film, and that the cast will live up to its prestige.
In ‘Daggers in the Back: The Mystery of the Glass Onion’, in addition to a Daniel Craig who will again put himself in the shoes of the implacable detective Benoit Blanc, we will be able to enjoy the talent of Edward Norton, Kahryn Hahn, Jessica Henwick, Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista or Janelle Monáe, among others. An assortment of luxury names for what aspires to be a new deconstruction of whodunnit classic cut.
‘The Glass Onion Mystery’ will land on Netflix next December 23, hopefully after a visit to theaters for a limited time -we cross our fingers, because we are facing one of those titles worthy of the big screen-. To whet your appetite, in addition to the trailer, I leave you with his new poster and with the synopsis official.
“When billionaire Miles Bron invites a few close associates on a getaway to his private Greek island, it soon becomes clear that all is not perfect in paradise. And when someone turns up dead, who better than Benoit Blanc to unravel all the layers?” of the mystery?
