The Iberian Peninsula has some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet, such as the Alto Tajo Park or the Cabárceno Nature Park. If you are looking for an option to the north you cannot miss the Gerés-Xurés National Park, shared by Spain and Portugal in the area of Galicia and that gets incredibly beautiful when autumn arrives.

In addition to cozy and beautiful villages, this natural space contains a lot of native fauna and flora, including birds, smaller animals and one of the collections of most extensive European protected plants of the continent. All this has earned it the title of UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2009.
Also, it has a lot of routes between rivers and waterfalls, which in summer help tourists to cool down and in autumn they give away a beautiful postcard full of orange trees, mist and enchanted forests. It also has megalithic, Celtic, Roman and medieval remains that can be discovered on the different routes offered by the organization of the park.
