Since last summer the guitarist Brian May and the drummer Roger Taylororiginal members of the rock group What in, announced that they had discovered a song unknown to fans while collecting material for an ambitious new project. The tracks It has just been released, getting good reviews.
The Ballad “Face it alone” was recorded in 1988, three years before the singer Freddie Mercury died of AIDS. When selecting the best songs from the sessions for the album The miracle was eliminated, but now forms valuable musical material for fans of the band. In Youtube is already available lyrics video.
“Face it alone” is part of box set Queen – The Miracle Collector’s Edition, which will go on sale on November 18. The package will contain eight discs, alternate takes, tracks instrumentals, other unreleased songs, videos, interviews and a 76-page book. Of finding that song, Taylor said: “We found a little gem from Freddie that we had forgotten about. And it’s a wonderful song. It really is a great discovery.”
