What a Christmas present they have given us from the BBC. And it is that, as you already know, 2023 is a quite special year for ‘Doctor Who’ since the series celebrates its 60th anniversary. An anniversary that has been anticipated for a long time with the return of David Tennant as Doctor (Fourteen) throughout three specials of which we can already see a trailer.
But Tennant will not be the only return to the series since Catherine Tate will return as Donna Noblethe regular companion of season 4. In fact, this preview somehow reminds us of the tragic end of the character’s path, with the danger that the encounter entails.

In addition, in these specials we will see Yasmin Finney as “another” Rose; Neil Patrick Harris as the villain of the show (the new Master?), Jacqueline King as Donna’s mother Karl Collins as Shaun, Donna’s husband and Ruth Madeley as Shirley Anne Bingham.
The preview also brings us new monsters, the return of UNIT and, incidentally, a first look at Ncuti Gatwa as Fifteen, the next reincarnation of the Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday, his companion. This “festive season” can be seen on November 2023 (and supposedly via Disney+ outside of the UK).
