So far this year, the Mexican entertainment world has had irreparable losses. In just four months, seven artists have died, the most surprising and recent being Julián Figueroa, who at the age of 27 died of a heart attack.

1. Pole Pole
The Mexican comedian died on January 23 at the age of 78 as a result of cardiac arrest. Leopoldo García, his real name, stood out in the entertainment industry, using comedy directed especially for adult audiences.
2. Irma Serrano “The Tigress”
The actress died on March 1 at the age of 89 from a sudden heart attack. According to her great-nephew, this was an advantage, since “La Tigresa” was afraid of death. However, this she was not painful or agonizing. Irma Serrano is remembered for her eccentricity and her unique interpretation of the corrido The Martina.
3. Ignacio Lopez Tarso
On March 11, lead actor Ignacio López Tarso died at the age of 98 due to severe pneumonia. The unforgettable Macario is one of his most emblematic characters and, without a doubt, he left a legacy in the film, theater and television industry. His dream was to reach 100 years old, but unfortunately, he didn’t make it.
4. Rebecca Jones
On March 22, actress Rebecca Jones passed away at the age of 65. To date the exact cause of her is unknown, but it is known that in November last year she recovered from pneumonia and for many years she was dealing with ovarian cancer. However, this talented star left a mark on many Mexicans, not only because of her strength and courage, but also because of the countless roles she brought to Mexican screens.
5. Chabelo
One of the most lamented losses by the public and even by the show media itself was that of Xavier López “Chabelo”, who died on March 25. Even when he was born in Chicago, Illinois, he was adopted by the public as a Mexican. Most of us grew up watching it on TV every Sunday.
6. Andres Garcia
Another celebrity who was not Mexican but we also adopted as one. For many years, the actor and heartthrob Andrés García was coveted and loved by many beautiful women. Unfortunately, he passed away at the age of 81 as a result of cirrhosis of the liver, which he dealt with for many years. Despite medical efforts, the person who gave life to Pedro Navaja died on April 4.
7. Julian Figueroa
The son of Maribel Guardia and Joan Sebastian died at the age of 27 on April 9 due to a myocardial infarction. His death has been one of the most surprising and unfortunate, not only because of his youth and talent, but also because he is the son of two figures that are much loved by the Mexican public. Julián had many projects and plans on the horizon both in the world of music and acting and he will be remembered for that and because we have known him since he was a baby in the arms of his unforgettable father.
