On the afternoon of June 18, the National Association of Actors (ANDA) reported through a publication on its Twitter account the news of the unfortunate death of the famous Mexican film, theater and television actress Rosario Zúñiga, who died at 59 years old.
Sending its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the artist recognized for her emblematic roles in the films Don’t stain Frida and perfume of violetsANDA did not give more details regarding the causes of his death, since not even the actress’s family has shared information about it.
Graduated from the National School of Theater Art and after studying Acting for Film at the University Center for Cinematographic Studies of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), through her characters and through her career, Rosario Zúñiga worked for equity of genre and even went so far as to give literary workshops for institutions such as the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Electricity Commission.
Since his debut in 1975 and throughout his career, he has made more than 30 plays, 15 soap operas, as well as important roles in films, such as The survivors of the Andesbut, above all, he is remembered for his outstanding participation in several TV Azteca programs, where he participated in endless episodes in What we women keep silent, routes of life and crime lottery.

In his career, he had the opportunity to work in various productions by directors such as Julio Castillo, Luis de Tavira, Ludwik Margules and Georges Lavaudant, as well as being part of the National Theater Company (CNT), where he participated in important cultural events such as the Ibero-American Theater Festival in Cádiz, Spain, and the XVII International Cervantino Festival, in Guanajuato, Mexico.
After the announcement of her death, the messages and farewell words to Zúñiga did not wait, so various celebrities in the media who had the opportunity to work with her dedicated a publication with condolences to her family. For its part, the National Theater Company shared a post on Twitter lamenting the death of Rosario Zúñiga. Rest in peace.
