The actress Margot Robbie has revealed that she considered leaving her career after filming ‘The wolf of Wall Street’. Released in theaters in 2013, the Martin Scorsese film was the big break for the actress, who played the character of Naomi Lapaglia alongside Leonardo Dicaprio. Yet despite the success of the film that would launch her career, she might as well have made the actress say no to Hollywood forever.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Margot Robbie says that the sudden fame she obtained with ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ scared her until considering leaving the cinema:
“What happened at that stage, in the beginning, was pretty horrible. I remember saying to my mom, ‘I don’t think I want to do this.’ She just looked at me, completely blank, like, ‘Honey, I think it’s too late. to not do it.’ That’s when I realized the only option was to move on.”
