A real nightmare is what the constant changes in Mediaset’s programming are being. The chain has changed plans again regarding ‘Nightmare in Paradise’: the reality show of celebrities living together on a farm will dispense with live galas and will broadcast recorded programs.
Where did I say…
Perhaps as a desperate attempt to stop the downward trend in audiences (which has been going on for some time but has been quite pronounced these summer months); telecinco lately he keeps abruptly changing his programming.
If at first he considered that ruling out the live galas of ‘Nightmare in El Paraíso’ was a step forward to reach more viewers (instead of repeating the cumbersome experience of the live galas of ‘Survivors’), one day before its premiere changed its mind and decided to include a live gala that, obviously, would affect its duration.
The results were disastrous, obtaining the worst reality premiere in the last year. After juggling the access prime time of the reality show, so as not to coincide with the premiere of ‘Masterchef Celebrity’, Telecinco has thought better of it and has decided to go back to the original plan.
So the program will not have live galas but the recorded galas will be broadcast and even the debate will be false live. If the stipulated is fulfilled, that will mean that it will go from finishing at 01:45 to ending around 00:40.
This week, ‘Nightmare in Paradise’ will air its access prime time on Tuesday and Wednesday, the main gala on Thursday and the debate on Sunday.
