Yuri has decided to take sides in the controversy in which she was recently involved and respond to those who branded her a liar. The singer took advantage of her social networks to send one or another message to her critics and even make fun of the situation that she starred in.
The scandal began when Yuri assured that absolutely all the tickets had been sold for his concert on November 4 at the Mexico City Arena. The curious thing was that some of the attendees showed with photos that the place was practically empty, which unleashed more accusations and the occasional offense against the artist.
The jarocha was silent about it until this Thursday, when she responded with a curious publication through her networks. Yuri characterized herself as Marilyn Monroe to refer to envy and hatred, assuming that these were the reasons for the criticism she received. “Marilyn Monroe once said, ‘Success makes a lot of people hate you, I wish it didn’t. It would be wonderful to enjoy success without seeing envy in the eyes of those around you.’”he wrote next to his photos.
However, there were those who wrote to her that she was wrong, since the real reasons were her lies about the influx at her concerts. In addition to this, she was reminded that if the CDMX show was almost empty it was because the LGBT community has decided to “cancel” it because of the comments she has made against them.
Yuri also posted some stories on his Instagram account in which he assured that almost all the tickets for his concert this Saturday, November 12, in Monterrey have already been sold. “Let’s go chambear, there is only one section left. I told you”mentioned the interpreter of ‘Maldita primavera’ in one of the videos.
He was also giving interviews in several Monterrey media, including Televisa Univision Pabellón M, where he reiterated his response. “Take your banana monkey… they said that Yuri, who is already very old, that she no longer fills even the bathtub at home, we still move it and well”, commented. And, as if that were not enough, Yuri included a photo that he titled ‘The V for victory’, referring to the fact that he continues to fill auditoriums at almost 60 years of age.
According to the TVNotas site, which investigated Yuri’s statements, there are still five sections of the Monterrey Arena with tickets available.
