After an intense first season, and with the tension of knowing what happens with Gus and his hybrid friends, Netflix, Warner Bros. Television and Team Downey moved forward with the second season of Sweet Tooth.
With the success of the new episodes, on social networks the production of Sweet Tooth announced the renewal of the series, which will have a third season, which will be the end of this original plot by Jeff Lemire.

In this second season In order to find a cure for the virus, the last men capture Gus and his hybrid companions. To save his friends, Gus must find new strength as he discovers the origins of the Great Collapse.
To protect his friends, Gus agrees to help Dr. Singh, embarking on a dark journey to his origins and the role his mother Bow Tie (Amy Seimetz) played in the events surrounding the Great Collapse.
The cast of this series will be made up of Christian Convery (Gus), Nonso Anozie (Tommy Jepperd), Adeel Akhtar (Dr. Aditya Singh), Aliza Vellani (Rani Singh), Stefania LaVie Owen (Oso), Dania Ramirez (Aimee Eden) , Neil Sandilands (General Abbot), with Will Forte (Father) and James Brolin (Narrator).
The first two seasons of Sweet Tooth are now available on Netflix. The release date of the third and final season is still unknown.
