Climate change is becoming more extreme, so precautions must be taken to prevent it from affecting our health. This was understood very late by a woman who suffered “solar poisoning” during her vacation.
Orla shared on her TikTok account the result of having gone on vacation to the coast of Cornwall, in England, without sunscreen and the very peculiar situation she experienced for not taking care of herself as she should to get the perfect tan.
According to his testimony, during his vacation, one fine day he noticed aggressive redness on his skin. However, Orla herself thought that it was a normal reaction to being exposed to the sun, so she didn’t pay much attention to it.
But everything changed when hours later he realized that his face was becoming inflamed and, of course, he began to worry. But, despite these symptoms, Orla boarded the plane back home and even in the clip we can see how she puts ice on her face to try to reduce inflammation.
However, this did not work. Also, upon landing and getting off the plane, he noticed that he had difficulty opening his eyes, as his eyelids were very swollen. Due to this, Orla went to the hospital and after carrying out several tests and evaluations, the doctors determined the cause of this reaction.
According to the doctor who analyzed her studies, Orla suffered from sun poisoning due to being exposed to the sun too much without using any sunscreen filter. Specialists affirm that this type of poisoning occurs when the burn is extremely serious.
Due to this, Orla had to undergo a treatment to regulate the effects on her face and calm the pain in her body. Of course, after this experience, the young woman recommended that everyone use sunscreen and take care of her skin as much as possible, since it should be noted that this can happen to any of us. To prevent, we leave you some of her symptoms, which are: skin inflammation, fever, dehydration, headache, blisters and even nausea.
