Thanks to six powerful internal speakers that direct sound to the left, right, front and above, the Era 300 offers an unparalleled spatial audio experience with Dolby Atmos. Its hourglass-shaped design allows each angle, shape, and perforation to enhance sound direction and dispersion to perfectly envelop the user.
To calibrate it, Sonos worked closely with its community of leading artists and creators, including members of its Sound Council, so you can enjoy sound as it was created by the artists in the studio.
For its part, the Era 100 – just slightly larger than its predecessor Sonos One – features all-new hardware and software, next-generation acoustics and design that deliver detailed stereo sound and deep bass.
Two slanted tweeters route high frequencies left and right for a rich stereo experience, while a larger midrange woofer delivers punchy bass you wouldn’t expect from a single compact speaker.
Both sets are backward compatible with sound bars and speakers, making it easy to create surround sound systems and immersive stereo sound experiences that put viewers at the center of the action.
As if that weren’t enough, both play audio over WiFi or Bluetooth and can connect directly to other audio devices like a turntable with an auxiliary cable and the Sonos line-in adapter.
In addition, the Era 300 and Era 100 are the first speakers to be developed under Sonos’ new responsible design standards, which encompass long-term maintainability, energy-efficient technologies, use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, and packaging made from 100% paper from sustainable sources.
Both Era 300 ($10,999 MXN) and Era 100 ($5,999 MXN) will be available globally starting March 28, 2023.
