How beautiful is the city Saragossa. And it is that beyond its great monuments, we can also find a wonderful gastronomic offer where if you want to go for pinchos you will find a lot of places.
In fact, it is precisely for this reason that in Zaragoza, as in other cities where tapas are prom queens (see León, Granada or Logroño), it seems that we are reluctant to sit down at the table although we can find great places, not especially expensive, like the ones we leave you below.
The Migueria
The migas are one of the most typical dishes of Zaragoza, which is why it is necessary to stop at La Miguería, where they have devoted body and soul to this recipe for almost 30 years. Yes, now they have more than 20 different preparations, although those that have eggs and torrezno are still the queens of the dance and where we can snack until we are satisfied. It is located at Pl. de Santiago Sas, 6.
Chema’s winery
Without a doubt, Bodega de Chema is one of those traditional food restaurants that conquers whoever passes by and where we can find delicacies such as suckling pig, roast suckling kid, Galician beef tenderloin… and much more. We found it on Calle Latassa, in the Plaza San Francisco area.
palomeque
El Palomeque is a restaurant that this 2022 has won the award for the Best Roast Lamb in Aragon, making it a must-see where we also find rice dishes and an extensive menu full of delicacies with great prices of about 35 euros. We found it on Calle Agustín Palomeque in Zaragoza
can cook
For the most exquisite, we can only recommend Cancook, which has a Michelin star in the heart of Zaragoza with a proposal of geographical Aragonese cuisine for just a dozen diners, multiplying the offer and making a restaurant service that sounds like two even closer. stars. Two tasting menus (one for 120 euros and the other for 90 euros) are Cancook’s flagship for continuing to win over hands and travellers. It is at Calle de León XIII, 2-4.
Weird people
It opened at the end of 2020 and has an impressive waiting list for this restaurant called Gente Rara that we found in the Jesús neighborhood in a old mechanical workshop and that has a Repsol Sun. Their treatment of French cuisine and the winks they make with the offal are some of the strong points of a restaurant.
The olive
And we end with El Olivo, winner of the contest for the best potato omelette in Zaragoza in 2021where we can only try their tortillas, of course, but we can also sit down to eat and enjoy.
