These days what does not stop ringing in the anime world is ‘One Piece’ and ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’, but we have many more series ahead of us this year. ‘Tokyo Revengers’ closed its second season this spring and already left us the announcement that there were more chapters in the works, but it seems that they are not going to be as hard as we expected.
Double in the same year
After a couple of waits, the second season of ‘Tokyo Revengers’ started this winter with a slightly shorter batch than last time and switching streaming platform from Crunchyroll to Disney+where it could be followed in simulcast.
For the new chapters we will not have to wait so long, because it has already been confirmed that the third season of ‘Tokyo Revengers’ starts in October 2023, just in time for the fall anime season. The day remains to be specified, but with the agreement signed by the Kodansha publishing house with Disney+, it is very possible that the anime will definitely stay on the platform and that we will have international broadcast guaranteed.
With the little wait that there has been between the two seasons, it is very possible that Liden Films have worked on them at the time. Season 3 will adapt the tenjiku bow of which something more can already be seen in the trailer, and taking into account the duration in the manga we can expect it to be around 12 episodes.
Then there would still be two more arcs to adapt before fully covering the story of the manga, so it is very possible that we will have a fourth and even a fifth season ahead.
