If RTVE was already cornering ‘Mapi’ more and more on its grill until it ended up dismantling its set, now the chain has given it the definitive kick: ‘Mapi’ moves from La 1 to Clan to broadcast the rest of the unpublished episodes.

‘Mapi’ was RTVE’s summer bet as an alternative to the reruns of ‘El Hormiguero’ in access prime time from Monday to Thursday. His hearings were never dazzling, although they were correct until the beginning of the school year. The decrease in spectators led to the dismantling of his set, so no more episodes will be recorded.
This happened even before all the episodes that were already recorded for the first season could be broadcast. After increasingly removing the contest from its schedule, going from being broadcast four days a week to just one, La 1 has decided to remove it from its programming and move it to Clan.
Thus, the Jandro and Mapi contest will continue its broadcast from Monday to Friday on Clan TV, at 9:45 p.m.. However, it will still have a gap in on weekends from 1 to 14:00occupying the time slot for reruns of ‘Viaje al centro de tele’.
This is not a very surprising decision, considering the considerable drop in audiences since September (although the character works very well on Twitter, getting into more than one controversy that, unfortunately, has no impact on the show itself).
Bearing in mind that there were a few 25 episodes to air, at the rate that La 1 had one chapter per week, we would have had to wait until May 2023 to see all the missing ones. It is not surprising that RTVE has preferred to get rid of it and relegate it to Clan as of Monday, November 7.
