According to international information, the German Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation against Till Lindemann, the vocalist of the metal group Rammstein, for alleged sexual crimes, since he was accused of sexual assaults by several women after his concerts.
As indicated by the Berlin prosecutor’s office, the investigation folder was opened for alleged acts not only of a sexual nature, but is also being investigated for the alleged distribution of narcotics.
Preliminary proceedings have been opened against Till Lindemann for alleged sexual crimes and drug distribution.
The case broke out when a 24-year-old Irish girl accused the singer of drugging and sexually assaulting her after a concert in Lithuania in May. Faced with this complaint, some more came from two other young women who described her experience, who are very similar.
According to the information, it is understood that the fans would have been located in the first rows of the concerts to later be photographed or filmed so that the vocalist could choose between them and then they were invited to private parties.
In addition to this, it is known that some would have been drugged so that the 60-year-old singer allegedly sexually abused them.
Of course, the artist denied and denied these events and, through his lawyers, informed that immediate legal action will be taken for all the accusations against him.
On the other hand, when the accusations came to light, the members of the band issued a statement in which they affirmed that the statements were taken “extremely seriously” and that, of course, they condemned any form of abuse.
In addition, Rammstein stated that the fans they had to feel safe “in front of and behind the scenes” at their concerts and asked the public to refrain from prejudice.
One of the consequences that this case has caused is that, precisely, the Berlin authorities have announced the cancellation of the parties after the concerts that the metal band has scheduled. In this way, Lindemann will be in the crosshairs of German justice.
